When foreigners see more international couples in Seoul today, they are actually witnessing a larger cultural transformation happening inside Korea itself. Korea is becoming more global, more multicultural, and more internationally connected than ever before.
International relationships are one visible sign of that change. Some relationships succeed beautifully. Others struggle because of cultural differences. But overall, international dating has become far more normalized than many outsiders realize. And for many Koreans, interest in dating foreigners is not about chasing something exotic or unusual.
