At first, some people call these schools unknown universities or no name universities. Yet many students later discover that studying at a regional university can actually offer a richer and more practical experience.

Studying in Seoul is certainly exciting, and for some students it may be the perfect fit. But it is not the only path to a meaningful experience in Korea.
Regional universities offer something different. A slower pace, closer communities, and deeper cultural exposure. For many international students, choosing a university outside Seoul turns out to be one of the smartest and most rewarding decisions they make during their time in Korea.
